Open Air Test Bed

 

Poluevo – SaM146 Open Air Test Facility – 2005

Cenco has performed for Poluevo (a Joint Venture between NPO Saturn and Snecma) the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of a turbofan open-air test facility. The test bed is used for development testing of the SaM146, the power plant of the Russian Regional Jet Sukhoi SuperJet 100.

Cyres, Cenco’s Data Acquisition and Control System is particularly powerful, and can accommodate a very large number of lines (in this case, over 2000), a heavy transient signal analysis and processing requirement, over a large distance between the test pylon and the control room.

Some special components were also integrated as part of the project, such as a turbulence control screen (for acoustic certification) and cross wind generator (for safety certification).
