Techspace Aero – CF34 – 2000s

Techspace Aero, Cenco International’s mother company, is a major player in the design and manufacturing of specific aero-engine modules (low pressure compressors).
For instance, Techspace Aero is a risk sharing partner to General Electric for the CF34-10 program.

Part of Techspace Aero’s responsibility is to perform endurance tests, as illustrated above with the CF34-8 engine. Techspace Aero’s Liers Test Center operates 4 test cells for development or production testing. Also illustrated is a Reverse Gas Collector, which is used to redirect reverse thrust and allows testing the reverse capacity of the CF34 inside a classic design U-shape test cell.
