An engine test capacity upgrade is a very simple way to complete your offer and keep your test cell busy.

Most aero engine test cells can accommodate different engines of the same type, within the same range of thrust, shaft speed or power.

Most Turbofan engine capacity upgrades require a simple adapter kit, which includes: a specific engine adapter, the engine harnesses to connect with the existing DACS, the specific software to test and control the engine.
Cenco can also supply the Test Nacelle Equipment from various vendors.

For Turbojet engine capacity upgrades, the approach is similar as long as the thrust and airflow of the considered engines are within the limits of the test cell capacity.

For Turboshaft and Turboprop engine capacity upgrades, the main concern is the power absorption capacity of the current installation. Cenco can supply new test bed fully equipped with its own water brake, or integrate new engine adapters unto existing test beds.

For APU capacity upgrades, we have a specific approach: integrate the APU test bed in your turbofan test cell.
Many Turbofan MRO operators are also responsible for the MRO of the APU that can be found on the same aircraft. Integrating a small test frame onto your work platform and re-using your existing test system will save you an significant investment and you make a more extensive use of your assets.
